Water maintenance chemicals can help prevent several issues that can develop over time if left unchecked. These can include cloudy water, high phosphate levels and more.

Pool Sparkle

Pool Sparkle restores sparkling clarity to the water, the product allows small particles to combine which are removed via the filtration process (the cartridge filter).

Floc Granules

An effective way to clear cloudiness caused by fine debris often missed by sand filters in swimming pool water. Adding floc granules directly after shock treatments will help restore water clarity and filter efficiency.

Jolly Gel Cubes

Jolly Gel helps to remove phosphates and minute debris particles from swimming pool water and transforms the water clarity in just a few hours.

Goldifloc Tablets

An aid to crystal clarity of pool water. Dissolving slowly, Goldifloc tablets release a coagulant to help filter sand hold back the small particles which cause cloudiness.

Chlorine / Bromine Neutraliser

Chlorine/Bromine neutraliser is used when chlorine or bromine levels are higher than recommended for bathing, and there is insufficient time for them to fall naturally.

Acid Wash

Hydrochloric acid (HCL) is a clear, colourless, and pungent solution also known as muriatic acid.

Tile & Liner Cleaner (TLC)

Tile & Liner cleaner has been specifically formulated to quickly breakdown deposits found on the waterline of the swimming pool. It is a non-abrasive product and is compatible with the water chemistry offering a fast but effective method of cleaning.

Klearpool Phosphate Remover

Klearpool Phosphate Remover specifically targets phosphate levels in swimming pool water. High levels of phosphate encourage the formation of algae which can cause the water to turn green.

Klearpool Leak Sealer

Klearpool Leak Sealer is specifically formulated to seal minor leaks whereby the water loss is no more than 2cms per day on 50,000 litres (11,000 gallons) swimming pool. It is always recommended, water leaks from swimming pools are fully investigated prior to application, this product SHOULD NOT be used to repair swimming pool liners.

  • A: Although cloudy water can be caused by many things, a common cause is poor chemical control or inadequate filtration.

  • A:

    1. Check chemical levels are correct.

    Ideal Readings:

    • Free Chlorine 1 – 3ppm

    • Total Alkalinity 80 – 150ppm

    • pH 7.2 – 7.5

    2. Back wash the filter.

    3. Treat water with a flocculant or clarifier.

  • A: Here are a couple of options, the products you choose will depend on how cloudy the water is.

    Example:

    Floc Granules are ideal to use after the pool has had its first shock treatment and you are getting ready to open the pool for summer. Floc Granules require vacuum removal.

    Tablets, cubes, and liquids are great maintenance products for regular use. These products clean the water via the filtration system and do not require vacuum removal.
